the Cost of Ski Instruction

Private ski lessons at this particular ski resort is $48.00 per hour, or six lessons for the price of five lessons totaling $240.00. This is a private lesson, with a one-on-one instruction by a professional, certified ski instructor teaching you several areas of skiing such as: learning how to put on your ski equipment, what ski equipment is the best for you, learning how to use the tow ropes and eventually, learning how to use the ski lift. Other areas that are taught during your lesson are: how to lift and tilt your skiis, how to ski on your right ski and left ski, how to control your speed, exhaling on every turn you make. Also, how important it is to look ahead while skiing and how to keep your rhythm constant. Another important point was how to properly fall safely and then, getting up back on your skiis.

The quality of service I received was very professional. As an adult, I felt really ignorant, as I had never skied before. The instruction gave me confidence that I could ski and by then end of the lesson, I really learned a lot and felt more confident about putting on my skiis and skiing.
