Description of service
This was a first time learn to ski package that included equipment rental, a group lesson, and a "beginner" lift ticket that allowed access to some, but not all, lifts. There was also the option to get a ticket for all lifts rather than the "beginner" lift ticket.
Review of Service
I had done some skiing as a kid, but that was decades ago, and I barely remembered anything. I was with a group of other skiers (including some friends) who were newbies or almost so, which was about my experience level. The instructor covered the basics, and worked on turns, technique and so forth, as well as getting on and off the chairlift. By the end of the lesson I felt fairly confident and spent the rest of the day skiing the slopes. By the end of the day, I felt like I wanted to ride some of the slopes not covered by the beginner ticket, I feel like I learned enough that I'd be confident going back and skiing on my own.
Tips
If you have a group of friends who want to learn at the same time, it's fun to all learn together -- and you can save on lodging as well.
