Description of service
I never realized how expensive it can be if you make an overdraft on your account. I have never had a problem until it happened this winter, but not only that, but it happened twice. Equaling $40 for both times. The bank takes the money automatically from my savings account when my checking account is low, but you still have to pay the $20 each time it happens. That can be quite a chunk of change.
Review of Service
Of course I called to dispute the charge because I thought I had the money, but the service I received was probably about what you would expect when you're disputing a bill. I was on hold for close to 30 minutes and when they finally answered they weren't very thrilled to try and help me with my situation. Of course that is pretty much to be expected when I did something wrong and signed a contract stating that I would pay a fee if I overdraft my account. In the end they were apologetic and offered some tips on how to keep it from happening down the road.
Tips
I don't think I'll dispute this charge if I get another in the future, but I will be pissed at myself for letting it happen again. It's just one of those things that you have to take responsibility and deal with it.
