the Price of Overdraft Fees

I was over for a couple of purchases I made via my bank account card. i was unaware of this and when I found out, needless to say, I was stressed and upset. When I went to check the fees that had been assessed I was pleased to see that my bank is actually fair when it comes to their overdraft fees.

My overdraft fees were much lower than I'd ever had before with other banks.

I was expecting a huge bill when I found out that two purchases I made were over. what was worse is that they were small purchases and together they only accumulated to about 2 dollars more than what I had in my account. I figured, like most banks, i was going to be paying about thirty dollars each overdraft covered. Instead, it was fifteen dollars per item, so I paid 30 dollars for both, fifteen dollars each, rather than 30 each. The bank is great and I suggest those in need of a new bank do research until you find this one.

when looking for banks, beware of those that promise things that are too good to be true up front. Also, watch it when they offer things like dvd players as 'bribe' to sign with them. It means they are in need of new customers because they can't keep current ones.
