I let my account become overdrawn because I thought a check had cleared when it hadn't and when I went to figure out my balance, I thought I still had money in my account when I didn't! I also thought I had overdraft protection when I did not.
Each time I got a $35 overdraft charge, I would think that I really needed to make sure there was overdraft protection on my account so it didn't happen again, and then I would forget and get slapped with another $35 fee. It was each time it happened, even if it happened three times in one day.

Well, I was really disappointed that I got charged $35 each time that I had an overdraft charge, but it was really only my fault. I know a lot of people get really upset and try to blame the blank, but it was really only my fault that I was not aware either of how much money I had in my account or how much I would have to pay in overdraft fees.
Tips
Always make sure that you know exactly what you are paying in overdraft fees and where your balance is. I finally got overdraft protection and now do not have to pay $35 each time I go over my balance.
