the Price of Dog Grooming at the Vet's Office

I took my vet to have a hair wash, hair cut and flea dip. They also painted her nails and put a little bandanna around her neck. The service cost $40.00 and I gave a $5.00 tip. I dropped my dog off before I want to work around 7:45 a.m. and picked her up after work at round 5:30 p.m.

There were a lot of great things about my experience. One was they were open before and after regular office hours so I didn't have to go in work late or leave early. Another great thing was that I know my vet very well and trust him with my dog more than I would a normal groomer. My vet also doesn't put my dog in a cage once he's done grooming, he actually puts her in a doggy play area to play with other dogs. The only complaint I have and the reason I don't take my dog there anymore is because my dog associates the vet with getting shots. So she's a lot jumpier and less happy when she spends the day at the vets than when I take her to a regular groomer.

Try to find someone who can work around your schedule. It can work out really great if you can drop your dog off to get it's hair done and also get some of their minor vet work done at the same time.
