Description of service

I have tried many different types of groomers in the eight years I have had my dog, and by far the most expensive was when I went to the vets office to have the grooming done. They have you drop your dog off where they take and put him in a cage until they are ready to begin. Kind of like a dog waiting room. The bad part is that I couldn't see the grooming being done. Most places have windows or allow you to watch. That alone was reason for me to never use a vet for grooming again. The end haircut looked nice, you could tell they shampooed and dried the hair also, but not worth the price.

Review of Service

Although the vet was friendly, it makes you wonder what they do behind the closed doors. I'm sure it's nothing because my dog seemed very happy after the haircut but not too overly excited to see me. I could probably save close to $20 if I were to have a local groomer or even a friend do it for me. Overall good but not great.

Tips

Since your dog is a part of your family you want to make sure that they get good care as well as good haircuts. You can probably even save some money compared to the vet's office.
