the Price of Dog Grooming at the Vet's Office

I brought or dog to our vet for grooming. We had used his services on prior occasions and found his staff to be knowledgeable and careful in the handling of our pet. The fees were discussed prior to them taking our dog and we agreed on what was to be included. The total amount due was for the services provided.

The quality of the service which we received was acceptable, although not as good as that which we had experienced on prior visits. The workers were polite and seemed trained to handle the animals with care and friendliness. One thing that we didn't feel was up to expectations was the time required to do the work. It took almost an hour longer than promised. The staff was not that busy, we could see from the waiting room, and they seemed to be talking to one another most of the time. At first, they forgot to trim her nails and had to put our dog back up on the table. The value of the service was fair although I think that the staff should act a little more professional.

Before scheduling this service for your pet, ask questions of the staff and try to talk with other people who have used the same facility. Be specific on what services are to be performed.
