This is the price we pay when we bring our large dog to a friend's house to have him groomed. This is a full service grooming that includes shampoo, hair removal, nail trimming, expressing anal glands, ear cleaning, and even teeth cleaning. I usually tip the groomer five dollars.

Our dog, although usually lovable, is a terror to groom! He has been known to bite and fight with groomers. However, this groomer does not have any of those problems with him. Honestly, I would pay one hundred dollars to have her groom him because I know he will not cause her any problems! I feel like the price I pay for this service is so reasonable. Most vets and dog groomers charge double this price for the full grooming that she does. I could not be more pleased with our in home dog grooming service.

Call around to find out who has the best prices. Pet stores, vets, and independent groomers can be found in almost any area. However, I have found that dog grooming in someone's home is by far the most reasonably priced option. Also, find out if the quoted price is for a full groom or a more pared down version.
