Description of service
I have gone to a friend for the last 5 years to have my dog groomed. Not only is the service better, but it's a little cheaper than if I were to go to a chain store or a local grooming shop. My dogs hair grows quite fast so I have a standing appointment every month and a half. The haircut its self costs $40 but I tip $10 because I know my dog can be a handful and it's a close family friend. My dog not only gets his haircut, but also get it shampooed and dried. Overall a good deal.
Review of Service
I love going to my friends because It's kind of like an informative class on dog grooming. Sometimes I get to help if I want, but other times I'll just watch tv in the other room. My dog and the groomer get along great so it's always nice because it makes the process a bit easier than if they didn't like each other. My dog will love anyone that is willing to pet him.
Tips
Grooming can be expensive, so anytime you can save a little money by allowing your friend to help it's always a good idea. I was once charged $70 at a small pet boutique. So the prices can vary.
