the Price of Dog Grooming in Someone's Home

I found an add in the newspaper for dog grooming and pampering that said they were affordable, so I gave this service a try. It was at a nice young lady's home in the suburbs of my city. She, as well as her home, were very neat and clean and I felt comfortable leaving my dog there as she snipped his nails, washed and brushed his hair and gave him a flea treatment. When I came back an hour later this was all done, and my dog was happy to see me. I paid the woman $50 and she gave me some extra dog shampoo and some directions on brushing his hair.

This was well worth it, but I don't see myself using this service very often. I love my dog, and love spending time with him so I usually do all the grooming. The lady who did the service was very nice to me and my dog. My dog didn't bite her, so I guess he liked her too.

Do it yourself. There's not much talent that goes in to grooming a dog, and if you just buy the shampoo yourself, it is really easy to do. If you can't do it yourself, hire a young teenager or someone like that to do it for you.
