Description of service
We pay a walker $12.00 an hour twice a day 5 day to walk our dog. She takes him to the park, the dog park and on runs. She exercises him as well as making sure he has fresh water and food. She has a key and comes and goes unsupervised.
Review of Service
This has worked out really well. Our dog is much more socialized than he was before he got these 2 hour walks every day. When we come home from work at night our dog is much more relaxed and not nearly as hyper. The vet definitely thinks his health has improved. Our walker is very responsible and the few times we've happened to be at home when she comes over she is always on time. Our dog really loves her.
Tips
I would say the most important thing is to find someone you trust. In my case the walker comes in my home when my family and I are not there so it really has to be someone I trust. I do get what I think is a pretty good deal but I'd pay much more if that was what was required to have someone I really trusted in my home.
