Description of service
I pay $140.00 a week for a person to come in once a day for one hour. They come in around lunchtime. They let our dog out to do it's business and they stay and play with him. They make sure he has plenty of food and water. When we first started with our pet sitter our dog also needed to have a pill administered.
Review of Service
The service is outstanding. We actually started with the intention of only having a temporary person come in while our dog needed to be medicated every 5 hours. We were so impressed with the person we hired that we never let them go. The difference in our dog when we return home from work is pronounced. Before our dog was very, very high energy. Now our dog is happy to see us but not overwhelmingly so. We find the time we do get to spend with our dog is much better.
Tips
It can be a little weird to have someone come in your home so make sure you check their background a lot to feel secure that they are of high moral character. Try to get a recommendation from a friend. Paying extra to have someone really great is definitely worth it in this type of situation.
