Description of service
We pay a high school boy down the street from us to walk our dog once a day during the week, and twice a day on weekends to walk our five year old dalmation around the block, which is about a half of a mile. He walks all kids of dogs all at once, so our dog gets to socialize with other dogs. We pay him $20 a week, and we get to help a high school kid pay for a new car.
Review of Service
The service is great. The boy that we have hired comes every day like clock work - he told us he is saving up for a car. He is always nice to our dog and when he walks the dog he always makes sure that he uses the restroom both ways. We have him do the "last walk of the night" so we can have more time to relax at home before we get ready for another hectic day.
Tips
We love using this service because we know we are helping a kid learn the value of hard work. We could hire an adult to do it, but they would charge way more for the service. Check around your neighboorhood for such an instance and always make sure it's okay with the parents before you hire someone.
