Description of service
I went to a salon that I called first that stated that for the length of my hair it would be one hundred dollars. I decided that this was ok for me to pay and I went in. I wasn't able to use conditioner for about 10 days before I went in to the salon. The hair stylist then twisted a portion of my dry hair and used dreadlock wax to keep it together. It takes quite awhile and I believe that is why it is so expensive. It takes over 2 hours if you have long hair like mine. Once I was done they recommended special shampoo and conditioner for my hair.
Review of Service
It was fairly expensive. My hair had grown out past my shoulders. It was a long process to sit and wait for. The price was cheaper than other places I had called. The lady was very understanding and told me what I needed to do to care for the dreadlocks and she also told me exactly what she was doing during the process.
Tips
I would definitely try to find out if someone that you know can do your hair for a cheaper price. The style does last forever so be ABSOLUTELY sure you want to have dreadlocks for a long time, because the only way to get rid of them is to cut all of your hair off. Showering isn't as easy, and you will need special shampoo and conditioner.
