Description of service
We did a remodel on our home. We turned our first floor into a dining, living, and an extra bedroom which required a lot of stud walls and electrical work for lights, outlets and a heater for the new bathroom. It took him two days to do this work. This guy ran a legitimate electrical service and moonlighted as a pottery instructor. He charged about $1900.00.
Review of Service
I watched him the whole time because I wanted to know what was done exactly. I think he liked the help I gave him. He didn't have to go up and down the ladder so much. as far as I could tell he did a great job. Everything was nice and neat. all the wires were straight and the outlets were lined up properly.
Tips
After watching this licensed electrician I think I could do this myself. All he did was run wire through holes he drilled in the rafters and studding. Then he installed the outlets and breakers in the fuse box. Big tip here is get a "How To Wire Your Remodel" book and do it yourself. Of course you must have a little mechanical ability and know enough about electricity to keep you from getting fried.
