My wife and I have been wanting to remodel our master bedroom and bathroom for a while now. The one thing holding us back was finding a qualified electrician who knew what they were doing. The work and supplies cost a total of about $1000. The price per outlet was $25. The cost of a standard light switch was $60. The cost of a three light switch was $120. And we needed two special surge protecting outlets above each sink which cost $60. In all with everything the cost was right about $1000
Review of Service
The electrician came and did his work in two days. He had everything except for the three light switch so he had to come back. However I was amazed that he got everything wired and installed in two days. Granted it is a fairly small bathroom and bedroom, luckily we had the wires for the most part already run which saved us quite a bit of money. Overall it was a great experience and I feel much better having a professional do the electrical work instead of doing it myself.
Tips
More than anything just make sure that the electrician shows up and stays on task when they need to be. The are notorious for being very unreliable and late.
