Description of service
Our buzzers in our condo building were not working. So, we had a company come to replace some of the broken buttons in both the main station and the stations in the individuals units. They had to replace some of the entire stations and in the others, just the buttons. They charged 50 dollars per hour for labor and about 60 dollars per each station that was replaced.
Review of Service
The electricians did the work fairly promptly. They came about a week after we called to schedule an appointment. They did not bring enough stations with them but they came back about a week later to install the remaining station. Unfortunately, they did not test the stations properly. They said that they tested all of them. However, two of the units have stations that still do not work. Because the price is fairly good and they are familiar with the system, I will probably have them complete the job.
Tips
In retrospect, it would have been a good idea to make sure that the electricians came with all of the necessary supplies. While it should really be their responsibility, the burden unfortunately falls on the customer. So, I would be specific exactly how many things need to be repaired and make sure that they bring enough with them. Also, if they do not bring what they need, remember that it is not your fault. It is theirs. Thus, they should not charge you for another service call.
