I recently signed my five year old large black lab up for dog health insurance at my local veterinarian. The plan which I chose costs 50 dollars per month and for this price my dog is given certain benefits. My dog is fully covered financially if it experiences a broken or fractured bone, a laceration, puncture wound, and my dog is also given an included check up once every three months. The insurance also includes all necessary vaccinations if necessary and my dog is also covered if it experiences infection or disease. The plan is basically an entire coverage of my dog's health for whatever misfortune(s) it undergoes. The plan increases by approximately five percent for every three hundred dollars of coverage.

I have seen the results of this great service already when my dog recently was injured from barbed wire. The insurance fully covered the medical costs and the experience was easy and smooth for me. The insurance rate raised only very very slightly and so far I am very satisfied with this dog health insurance so far. I greatly like how the protection plan covers almost any injury or problem with my dog, and I now can feel confident that I am financially safe no matter what happens to my dog. This is a great investment and I highly recommend it.
