Description of service
After the terrible car accident with our previous pet we decided it would be a great idea to get insurance for the new puppy.the total monthly charge is 33.83.they do require for you to do 2 months payments up front.i will give you a run down of what the 33.83 covers.
The fee covers accidents, illness, xrays, surgeries, cancer, prescriptions, vaccinations, flea control and dental and spay. You do have to pay for the visit and then they will reimburse you up to 90% of the total bill. You will have a $50 deductible when you submit your claim.
Review of Service
The company I use have a great rate that they will pay for. Some of the down sides are that you do have to pay for the service up front and then submit a claim. There was no real health questions pretty much just the age and breed and type of animal you have. Also its great that my rate was guaranteed for a year no matter how many times we take him to the vet. Also the next year may be at a higher rate but you can cancel at any time.
Tips
Chose a company that does not require pre authorization. In an emergency the last thing you want to do is make phone calls trying to get authorization.Compare prices,Also look at what each company is willing to cover.A lot of companies out there will not cover routine exams or shots and prescriptions.
