Membership fee for pet insurance, not counting monthly fee  more... close row

Description of service

The membership fee is $99, and the monthly fee is $16.95. It includes: physical exam, 3 fecal exams, heartworm/lyme/ehrilichia exam, ALL shots, deworming, monthly checkups, and 5% off medications & other services. Plus, the next plan up is about $7 more/month, and it would include hysterectomy or castration. (I plan to switch to this plan soon)

Review of Service

Everyone at this office would extremely helpful and seemed to genuinely care about my puppy. In terms of the plan, it saved me SO much money. My first visit came to $156. It was $99, plus the first monthly fee, and then I chose to purchase a few other things. Next time, I won't pay anything at the vet. This is a huge savings since most places charge $200 per visit for shots!

Tips

I wish I wouldn't have paid $20 for the Benadryl shot that they talked me into. They said it's because they don't know how the pup will react to shots its first time. They told me next time I could bring some liquid children's benadryl to the office, and they would give it to my pup for me. So I would recommend to come prepared with that the first time around - save you $20!
