Description of service
I had a full weave, 2 shades of highlights foiled all through my hair. I have long hair that was previously low lighted. I was charged $100 for the full weave (partial weave or top only foils are $80). I tipped $25 on the total charge. The whole process took approximately 2 hours (I also had her lightly trim my hair which she did not charge for).
Review of Service
The quality was excellent. I have gone to the same salon twice before for highlight and lowlights and have always received excellent service. She helped me find a color that was suitable for my skin tone and cuts that worked with my face shape while still taking into account what I liked and didn't like. I found her prices to be very reasonable as well. I've paid up to $130 for a partial weave alone, in the past, so $80 for a quality weave was very reasonable.
Tips
Make sure you find a hairstylist that listens to what you want but also offers helpful and professional advice. A hairstylist that knows what shades compliment your current color and hair type will make all the difference in the world. Start by asking people who's hair you admire where they get their hair done. Highlights can cost anywhere from $75-$150 depending on a full or partial set. You may be able to do them cheaper but the quality will not be as good.
