the Cost of Hair Color with Highlights

I got a all over hair color with blonde highlights. I went to a upscale salon that used high quality products. My service included and wash and condition, haircut, color, highlights, and style. I tipped the stylist $20.00 so I walked out paying $180.00 total. I was told to come back in 6 weeks to touch up my roots and that would cost me $80.00.

I got ok service. My hair looked really good. She did everything that I asked for. I just felt that I was not getting her undivided attention. My stylist was talking to another girl who worked there the whole time and I felt at the price I was paying I should be the one she was talking to. The salon was very busy and very loud. She was also a little rough with my hair but it could just be that I am tender headed. But even through all the comotion I did walk out of there with great hair.

I would ask how long the person who is doing your hair has been doing hair. You don't want someone who is just out of beauty school. I know this personally. Also speak up if there is something going on that you don't like. I am a very passive person and hardly say anything if I'm disatisfied but then I walk away feeling like I didn't have a good experience.
