Description of service
I guess you get what you pay for? I am not sure if that holds true for hair salons lately. I about fell out of my chair the last time I went in. I did less to my hair and came out paying more. I just wanted my highlights toned down and a haircut. I guess I need to be more assertive when I go there and ask questions before I get my services done and what the cost will be beforehand. My bad.
Review of Service
First of all, it took the hairstylist 4 hours to do my hair. I don't have long hair, it is shoulder lenght. I told her I wanted my highlights toned down and my grey covered and a trim. I don't think I was going to be there so long. When she was done and was rinsing out my hair, she asked me how much I wanted cut. I told her just a trim to get the dry ends taken off. She did just that and she asked me if I wanted my hair dried and of course I did. She dried it, or so I thought. She started to use a curling iron to finish my hair and used it twice and then she took out the flat iron and finished my hair. When I was getting ready to pay she blurted out the cost. I asked her why it was so much and she said it was because I had her blow dry, use the flat iron and the curling iron. I didn't ask her to use the curling iron or the flat iron. But they said that since she used it, they were not going to refund my money. Talk about being ripped off.
Tips
Lesson to be learned, ask about all charges before they do them. If they start to do something that you have not asked them to do, stop them if you don't want to pay for it. Also, check your hair before you leave, when I left the place I ran my hair through the back of my hair and my hair was still wet!
