Description of service
This is the price I recently paid for a complete annual physical at my gynecologist's office. The price included a pap smear, complete blood work, breast exam, blood pressure, and all lab work. I waited for approximately one hour before seeing the doctor. The actual check up took about an hour to complete.
Review of Service
I have been seeing this doctor for about fifteen years. He has delivered two of my children and I think he is a great doctor. The office staff is very personable and efficient. I think the wait time to see the doctor is a bit ridiculous (I always have to wait at least this long, sometimes even longer). But, I also understand that OB/Gyn's often have unexpected situations to take care of (like special deliveries!). I think the price is reasonable as well.
Tips
Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover annual physicals for adults, so I have to pay for this exam every year. Make sure you check with your insurance company to see if women's physicals are covered; if so, see if you are required to see a certain doctor. Also, do not expect to obtain the results from your pap smear immediately. This usually takes a few weeks.
