The services that were provided to me were very good. I experienced a high risk pregnancy with a lot of complications. The price above of $6500 included all of my visits, both scheduled and unscheduled, and delivery of baby via c-section. It does not include the hospital portion of delivery. The time I spent with my OB and his staff during the seven months of pregnancy was about forty-five minutes a visit with no to little time in weighting room. I was able to ask all the question that i wanted, no question was stupid, i was able to call at any time of day or night and i had access to a great staff of nurses and nurse practitioners.
Review of Service
As far as price versus experience is considered, my experience during this time and the price was a great value. During a high risk pregnancy, you expect to pay more for services than if you had experienced an easy pregnancy, that is not he case here. The caring and experience of the doctor and his staff was uncut by the price.
Tips
No matter what age a woman gets pregnant, it is an emotional time. My advice is to research doctors, compare experiences of other woman and not worry about price. Your health out weighs the price factor and a lot of things can go wrong in any pregnancy.
