the Price of an Ob/Gyn

I was having my last baby and I had just moved to Cleveland from North Carolina and I didn't know what I was going to do. My husband had gotten a good job so he was going to see what kind of insurance the job offered him. I was due in two months and was huge so I knew it wouldn't be too long. Unfortunately there was a waiting period for the insurance to kick in and I need to see my OB/GYN immediately. Luckily, I was able to find one in our quiet neighborhood that offered her services for a very small fee. She said that when the insurance kicked in, her co pay would cost five dollars, but for now, she would charge a flat 25.00 fee for every time I went to visit her.

I loved the OB! She was totally reasonable and really wasn't afraid to work with us on payment schedules. Even if we didn't have the 25 dollars that day, she let us slide until the following week. she really took pride in that she is there to bring miracles into the world and didn't concentrate so much on money, it was really refreshing and really sweet. I would recommend her to just about everyone!

If you are not comfortable with a doctor and feel uneasy, do not be afraid to find someone. It is all about how you feel and what is best for you!
