Description of service
We ordered the 'new customer' special from a frozen food delivery service. It included 2 chickens and 12 hamburger patties. It included free shipping and the total cost was $25.00.
Review of Service
The service was OK. The food was decent but not wonderful. The biggest problem with the delivery was that someone had to be here when they delivered it. We had a 2 hour window of when they were to show up so I had to sit here and wait for it. The price of this 'new customer' package was excellent and definitely worth the money. However, when we sat down and looked at their other packages we didn't feel they offered a very good value for our money. The other reason we didn't continue the service was because most of the things we could buy came in bulk. We don't have a ton of room in our freezer and didn't feel we'd have enough room for the types of things we would have been interested in buying. Besides which, we live very close to a grocery store.
Tips
If you don't have a lot of grocery store options and if you are home during the day this might be a good service for you. Otherwise, it likely isn't.
