the Price of Frozen Food Delivery

The $40.00 charge was for overnight shipping to my home of the three frozen roasts and did not include the cost of normal shipping and handling or the price of the roasts themselves. This charge was ONLY for the frozen shipping costs.

This delivery went off without a hitch and I had my Thanksgiving roasts so I was happy. After going to every single store in my area and beyond and not being able to find the fake turkey roasts that I make every Thanksgiving for my family, this was my only option. I ordered them online. I have to say that I was VERY shocked by how expensive the shipping was for these three roasts. The shipping cost 2x as much as the food itself! They were prompt and I really have no complaints about the service. I just wish I had not had to pay so much.

SHOP EARLY! If you know that something you want has a tendency to not be stocked well in your area, shop months in advance, especially if its frozen and can stay frozen. I knew this was the fact for my fake turkey roasts and did not heed my own warnings. When I went to get them, they were out and not expecting any more shipments before Thanksgiving. Thus, I was out $40.00 for shipping. This will not happen next year for sure, even if I have to buy my Thanksgiving roasts in July!
