Description of service
This frozen delivery was provided by a company that comes every 2 weeks with home deliveries. You can order online or wait until they come by your home to choose what you want. After placing your order, they will gather the items from the refrigerated truck and bring it into your home, even placing it in the freezer if you wish.
Review of Service
The driver was very friendly, but the prices on the products are almost 1/3 higher than the equivalent products available at the grocery store. I like the products, but, especially in an economic turndown, this is a little more than I can stand to pay every 2 weeks.
In the event that someone doesn't have reliable transportation on a consistent basis to go grocery shopping, though, I can see where this service would be very beneficial. It's also nice to know that if you're really pressed for time and you have the money, you can have most all of your frozen groceries delivered.
Tips
Sometimes these companies offer special incentives for you to order online, thus freeing up the driver's time to facilitate new customers. Always ask if there are any specials or incentives. The worst they can say is "no".
