Description of service
I received a freezer-full of the foods described above: frozen entrees, pot pies, seafood and fish. Delivery was made to my home. The payment was made at time of delivery, by check, no gratuity.
Review of Service
I have used this home delivery service three times now, over the past six months. I love the convenience of ordering foods online and then having it sent to my home. The service also offers shipping of foods via express shipping (FedEx, UPS), so I could receive the food more quickly, if I wanted to pay the additional fees. Again, I like the convenience, although I don't eat much of the food ordered, it's for my teenager. I think that the food prices are a bit high, and some of the food quality just isn't as good as it could be, or what we could purchase locally at the grocery store. It is very helpful to me, however, to not have to make a trip to the store. What is hard to judge is how good the food will be - until you eat it.
I won't order from this service anymore, however, as the company had a food recall on one of the products I bought. I don't trust that - and won't buy from them again.
Tips
Read user reviews online. Know what food prices are locally and then calculate if it is really worth it to purchase. Sometimes, even with the delivery convenience, the food is just not that good. It would have been better to go to the store and purchase myself.
