Description of service
I paid $45 for a student massage at a local massage school. This school did not allow tipping. The massage lasted about 55 minutes.
Review of Service
This was a great deal. The massager wasn't as good as some I've had but for this price that was fine by me. I also liked that I didn't have to try and figure out how much of a tip to give. That always confuses me and makes me uncomfortable. The massager was a little bit timid so I had to ask a few times for her to massage my muscles a little bit harder and more firmly. She responded well to my direction though. When I was done I did have to fill out a very lengthy survey about my experience. I was really relaxed and just wanted to go home and curl up with a book so I was a little impatient. But I like the idea that they want to help their students get better.
Tips
You typically can't request a specific person at schools so if you're someone who is only comfortable with a massager of a particular gender this is probably not the way for you to go. Be sure to know the tipping policy to avoid embarrassment.
