Description of service
i went and had a massage done at a teaching school for massage,,, so it was the students performing the massages on their own, you went in and the room was very serine,, lights were dimmed,, you were allowed to be dressed however you were confortable,, so you did not have to take off all of your clothes if you were unconfortable,,, they massaged what ever area you wanted done,,, they asked you first before doing each area,,, it was quiet with soft music in the background,, the student was very professional,,, continued to ask throughout the massge if everything was ok and you were not in any pain,,, it was a very comfortable situation and very professional,,, the students do a very good job, it actually was my first massage and yes i would go back there too,,, they greet you at the door and explain everything to you,,, so there are no surprises,,,the room and cart is very confortable,, they use cream but ask you first if its ok,,,, and they do a check off list at the beginning and check with you on any medical problems you have or any areas you want worked on more,,,
Review of Service
the quality of the service was great,,,the students were very professional the whole time,,, you walk in the school and it is totally professional from the beginning to the end,, they treat you like a real person and not just a business transaction,, then at the end you have to feel out a short questionnaire on the overall experience, the student including,,, so yes i would definitely go there again for another massage,,i really enjoyed how the room was done up,,, lights dim, quiet with soft music,,,,and the option of what clothes to take off was very nice because some people are not comfortable with taking everything off,,, the students didnt do any part on your body without asking you first,,, especially your face, they always asked,,, you could lay there and close your eyes and relax the whole time, and yes i feel the service was worth the money,,,, you just need to remember that they are students ,,,, so im sure if you go elsewhere and pay a larger amount it might be longer or more,, but for a nice relaxing massage for about 30 minutes this was worth it,, i just dont feel paying a larger amount would make it any better for me,,, because this was great,
Tips
go and check out the place...ask to see a room,,, ask to see what the qualifications of the students are and how are they monitored,,, compare prices at other spas but do realise that this are students doing the massage still in learning,,, give them criticism if you have any,,, because this is when they are learning,,, dont lie about it,,, ask the school about their qualifications,,, how do they handle if you do have some slipped discs in your back,,, ask about all of these before you have the massage done,,i wish that i would have known that this experience was great,,, because i would have gone sooner,, i do not regret going to a school to have it done,, because the students are very professional and do their job great,,,why pay for an expensive massage at these spas that give you basically the same things,,, not right to have massages so expensive,,, it todays society everyone should beable to afford these massages,,, i had this recommended to me by a co worker /friend,,,, and i am so glad she recommended them,, you can also buy a package deal i think for up to three or four massages,,,, thats a deal,,, good place
