I rented a pick up truck for an hour to move a large and very heavy TV. I only needed it for a short while as I was only moving the TV a few miles.
Review of Service
The process of renting the truck was painfully slow. I signed nearly 5 pages, need to give them (for copying) so many documents. It was exhausting and I hadn't even lifted the TV yet.
When I finally got the truck I had a lot of trouble getting the tailgate down, and the rental people seemed to have disappeared and I was on the clock already.
When I got my moving done and returned the truck all was fine until a week later when I found a $20.00 charge to my account which was for an extra hour of usage of the truck.
I was 2 minutes into my second hour when I finally found an employee to give the keys to.
Tips
My tips are that it is important to make sure the employee shows you how to use the truck before your rental time starts. Also, if they try to charge you extra like I did be sure to have the employee's names on hand.
