the Cost of Air Conditioner Maintenance

I paid the cost of $100 for a maintenance contract for my air conditioner. This cost included two inspections of my air conditioner during the time period of one year. This price did not include any actual repairs that would have to be performed on my air conditioning system.

I was able to schedule my first appointment to have my air conditioning checked in the spring, before I really had any need for my air conditioner. The serviceman arrived on time and promptly tested my air conditioning system to make sure everything was in perfect working order. He did not find anything wrong with the air conditioner. He did change the filter free of charge, as this is included with the service. He was in and out of my house within a 1/2 hour. I was really happy with the service and now have peace of mind that our air conditioner will keep us cool throughout the summer.

I would recommend getting a package where a serviceman will come and check out your air conditioner before it gets hot outside. This way, they will be able to spot any potential problem, and your air conditioner won't break down when you need it most.
