the Cost of Air Conditioner Maintenance

We had an air conditioner repair and maintenace man install a sump pump to our unit to prevent water from dripping onto our garage floor. He also cleaned out the filter compartment and replaced the filter and adjusted the flow outside to prevent the unit from freezing up.

His service was great and the price was unbeatable. After talking to several other A/C places they were going to charge substantially more and could not come out for several days which would not work for us because we had an infant child. After telling the man that we did use he came out the same day and did the work that same day and charged less than his competitors. Other a/c people had promised to come out but never did show. The work has held up now for a year and was worth every penny. He was not with one of the big name a/c companies, just an independent contractor and was very diligent to explain what he was doing every step of the way and how much it would cost. He gave us our options for service and let us decide.

Don't be afraid to call the independent guys, big company doesn't mean better work and usually means higher price.
