I was having a lot of problems with insomnia and having really elaborate disturbing dreams. I would wake up exhausted because I had such exhausting dreams and I felt like I was doing everything in my dreams!I would wake up probably 6-8 times a night and even when I did sleep, I wouldn't feel rested.
This was for a package of three hypnotherapy sessions. Two of them were "clinical hypnotherapy" - or basically like guided relaxation and subliminal suggestions, and one was more of an exploration of what some dreams meant.
Review of Service
The clinical hypnotherapy sessions were great and I actually have been sleeping much better. However, the other one - the one that was more of an exploration of what various dreams meant - was a little too touchy feely for me. I didn't feel entirely comfortable with that one and wish I hadn't had to pay for it.
Tips
When looking into hypnotherapy, it is important to find someone who you trust because it is really personal and does involve a lot of trust. Try to find a recommendation from someone, although this can be hard because hypnotherapy isn't that common. If you can't find a recommendation, make sure you ask lots of questions until you feel ok with the hypnotherapist.
