Description of service
I took a 3 hour one day watercolor painting class. It did not include any materials. The total price was $45.
Review of Service
I've been painting for a few years now but had never taken a class. I decided I wanted to learn some new techniques in watercolor painting. I found this local class that promised to give us the fundamentals of watercolor and also that we would have a finished painting in the span of three hours. I thought it sounded too good to be true and I was right. Basically the instructor spent about 5 minutes going over the difference between oil and watercolor paints. This information is really basic and I think most people know. Then they had us get our materials out and basically told us to start painting. We painted for a few hours while the instructor came around and made comments but didn't really give any advice. Mostly just told us what they liked. After about 2 1/2 hours the teacher started rushing us and we ended up not being there for 3 hours.
Tips
3 hours is not enough time to get good information or instruction. Even if it's cheap, don't be fooled. You should insist you get the time you paid for.
