Description of service
I paid $40 for a watercolor painting class at a local painting school. The class lasted about three hours in the evening and there were about ten other adults in the class. The class took place in a studio with painting desks. There was one professional watercolor painter who taught the class. We painted still lives and he assisted us with our composition and painting technique. There were no additional fees for the class. All students were required to bring their own watercolor painting supplies.
Review of Service
I really enjoyed the class and felt that I learned so much in those three hours. The teacher was so friendly and helpful. He could paint with watercolors really well. The class overall was very calm and relaxing too. It allowed me to concentrate on my painting. My painting really improved from the class. I felt that I was given a lot of attention by the teacher.
Tips
I would suggest taking watercolor painting classes at a local painting school rather than at a university for example. Usually the classes are less expensive and the environment that the classes are held in is very relaxing and quiet. Also, the class sizes at local painting schools tend to be smaller, making the setting more rewarding and intimate.
