Description of service
We paid $500 per month for a live-in nanny to take care of our children for three months over the summer. The $500 was for her expenses, although we provided her room and all of her meals. She had access to one car. We paid for her gas if she was transporting the children. Otherwise, she paid for her own gasoline. She was responsible to pay for anything else she needed including grooming, clothes, entertainment.
Review of Service
We were really happy with the live-in nanny. We were referred to her by a friend of ours who had used her services for 2 years. She was really great with the children and even did extra things for us that weren't required of her. She had over 10 years of nanny experience. She had even gone to a school to learn how to be a nanny. The $500 per month was money well spent. We will use her again if we have the need.
Tips
If you are looking to hire a nanny, it is important that you get references so that you know that you can trust her. Also, you need to decide ahead of time how much you are willing to pay for her services.
