the Price of a Nanny

Live out nanny. She worked on average 5 days a week, so some weeks 6 days others 4. She worked 5-12 hour days. She would come over in the morning take the kids to school, help out running errands during the day or we would let her do her own thing, then she would have them until about 7pm at night. She fed them, bathed them, took care of driving them to their after school activities. She was a fill-in me!

We have had the best nanny for the past 3 years! She started out as a sitter and quickly became a part of our family. My husband and I became completely dependent on her. Not only did we trust her, but our kids just adored her. My twin boys would freak out if both my husband and I were out of town, they wouldn't even have grandma stay. However, they would be ok with her over night, go figure. But once she graduated from college and needed a job, we knew we could not lose her. So we offered her a salary to stay because we loved her just so much! I have nothing but amazing things to say.

Find someone you trust and love. Someone that your kids love and make her a member of your family. We had such a great experience, I hope you do too.
