the Price of a Root Canal

This price included the cost of the root canal procedure, x-rays, temporary filling and follow up appointments.

Initial appointment for the abscessed tooth included x-rays and physical exam of the tooth and gums. The tooth was then prepped and the root canal was preformed on a molar with four roots then medicated. The doctor was very nice and put me at ease right away. There was no real pain during the procedure and very little afterwards. Since they had to wait to do the temporary filling until my infection was getting better I had to return for the temporary filling a week later and at that time I had another set of x-rays as well. A final check up was scheduled for six months later to follow up on the infection. They took very good care of me and informed me of what was going on every step of the way. I was very pleased with the high level of care I was given by my endodontist.

Ask up front if they have payment plans and what insurances they take, since most Endodontists will work with you. If they are not letting you know what is going on don’t be afraid to tell them. That goes for the pain as well, do not be too afraid to tell them if you are feeling too much of the procedure.
