Description of service
We use storage space provided in a large shed by a commercial storage rental company. We have approximatly 12 feet in depth by 5 feet in width, and about 8 feet in height. This is the smallest of the shed sizes available, and the cheapest priced size.
Review of Service
The shed fits all of our extra boxes and totes, but if you are in the process of moving there probably isn't going to be enough room for you. Overall, I was happy enough for the extra space in my house, but the price seems a little steep just to have a few boxes in a shed. I'd say, unless you're moving or really, really, don't have the room, you're going be better off saving your money for a year and putting up a shed in your backyard, if possible. Also, we had just gotten our stuff out of the place when the whole thing flooded and everyone's stuff was ruined. If you do use storage places, put your precious and non-waterproof things raised off the floor.
Tips
You have to put down a down payment. If you aren't on time you have to pay a fee, which is unwaivable. If you are late too often you forfeit your down payment. If you don't pay for three months you forfeit all your items. They will come and lock you out. Then, if you aren't threatened into giving them the money, they have the right to take your stuff. So, make sure you keep up payments, especially if you have a lot of pricey valuables.
