the Price of Storage Space

My wife and I were moving to Arizona but the house wasn't finished yet but we had to be out of our current house. So while we live in an apartment for hopefully no more than a month we have a small storage location to keep some of our stuff in while the house is being finished. It's normally $100 per month but since we are only using it for one month the price is a bit higher. I think it was called a convenience fee. Not a big deal considering the following of storing everything in our small apartment.

The storage building is just a small garage with a dirt drive that can be accessed by car truck or trailer. We fit a medium sized moving van full of stuff into the storage building. I was worried about moisture and rodents so I wrapped everything in a tarp. Neither seemed to be a problem so I was relieved. Once we finally moved into the house we transfered everything and were again relieved to find that nothing was missing or damaged.

Storage buildings are a cheap and convenient way to store things until you need them. It could get expensive if you were to use it full time, but otherwise it is a great way to store things temporarily.
