Description of service
The class was $50 per couple or $30 per person. It consisted of one 45-minute session. There was one dance instructor for about 20 people. It was an introductory class. If you liked the class, you were then able to enroll in the whole course, which was a 3 month commitment, with classes taking place 2 evenings per week.
Review of Service
My husband and I have been wanting to take ballroom dancing lessons for a long time. We decided to go with the introductory class, which was $50 for both of us. It was a lot of fun. The instructor was excellent. There really wasn't a lot of individual attention to each couple. The class was more about watching the instructor with his partner and then following along. We learned a lot, even though it was just an introduction. We didn't sign up for more classes, because we think we would rather find a private instructor.
Tips
If you are considering dance lessons, you must decide whether you would rather have a private lesson or would you rather follow along with group instruction. Either way, the cost should be a factor. Dance lessons can be rather expensive, and you want to make sure you get what you pay for.
