the Cost of Gel Nails

I recently had a set of gel nails applied at a local hair and nail salon. I was charged thirty five dollars for the service. I also decided to tip the girl five dollars on top of this for good service for a total of forty dollars.

I was really happy with the service I received at the salon. The girl doing my nails had a professional demeanor and the nails came out great. From start to finish, she only took forty five minutes, which I thought was quite reasonable. My only complaint was that the salon was very loud and I prefer a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere.

I am usually able to get great deals because I live in an area swamped with nail salons. If you do not live in such an area but could drive ten minutes to get to one, I recommend it. I would also ask friends which salons they like and why. Make sure the salon you choose is not cheap because it takes short cuts on hygiene and sterilization processes. A great deal is not worth an infection. I would also recommend trying a different nail stylist if you like the price at a salon but were not too thrilled with the job. The quality of the individual workers can vary greatly.
