Description of service
My 7 year old daughter took a 10 week jazz dance class. The cost was $20 per class. I also had to buy her special shoes which cost $20.00. There was a recital at the end of the classes. I bought her a costume to wear. It was $25.00.
Review of Service
This was a great class for my daughter. She got some exercise and got to meet some new girls who didn't go to her school. The class was at a local dance studio. The class had a variation of ages from 7-12 but they were all beginners. The recital was a hoot. The girls got up and did a dance number they'd been practicing for weeks. My daughter didn't do as well as she could have. This was mostly due to the fact that she didn't spend enough time practicing at home. I didn't realize she wasn't practicing at home or I would have encouraged her to do so.
Tips
First, I would suggest sitting in on a class before you lay your money down. Second, I would recommend talking to the teacher frequently to see how your child is progressing. If they need to spend more time practicing at home be sure to encourage them to do so.
