the Price of Dance Lessons for Kids

My 5 year old daughter came up to me and told me that she wanted to join a jazz dancing class. I searched around until I found 7 week long jazz dance class at the low price of 55 dollars. My daughter went once a week for one hour. This was plenty of time for a 5 year old. All I had to pay was the fee for my daughter to join the class, other than that they did not require any other monetary fees.

After my daughter finished all 7 weeks of lessons, I could tell that she learned a lot. She knew a lot about how to stay with the beat of music and how to do different jazz dances. The good parts of the service was that the practices were short enough and infrequent enough that she looked forward to going to class rather than dreading it. The only drawback to the service was not being able to watch her at practice because the institute had closed practices. I think that for less than 10 dollars a week these jazz dance classes turned out to be quite a deal.

I advise anyone with kids wanting to do a type of dance class not to automatically assume that it will be too expensive for you to afford, look around a bit then make that decision. The only thing I wish I would have known before this experience is how much my daughter would enjoy because I would have got her involved in it sooner.
