the Price of Karate Classes

I took 12 weeks of beginning Karate classes. The cost of the classes was $600. I also paid $75 for the appropriate uniform before the first class began.

For the most part, I enjoyed this class. I had taken Karate classes as a kid but it'd been more than 20 years. I remembered it being a lot of fun and I was trying to improve my overall fitness so I was excited to find this class. This was a class specifically for adults who'd taken martial arts classes as kids.

I thought that would mean that we'd start with the knowledge that we had a basic understanding of martial arts. Unfortunately everyone was at different levels so we ended up having to start from scratch.

The other issue was that they made us buy the uniform from them. I felt like I could have gotten a cheaper price if I'd been able to go elsewhere to get the exact same uniform.

However, overall, it was a good class, I'm glad I went and I met some great people.

Try to find a place that doesn't require you to buy your supplies from them. You can save some money by shopping around.
