Description of service
The fee for these karate classes included a t-shirt, but this fee is for a month of three one-hour lessons a week, with access to the facility for free training on Saturdays. Of course, aside from the t-shirt the first month, this cost includes the service itself and no other materials.
Review of Service
The service has been great so far, it's a good workout and really improves your confidence. When you find a teacher that works well for you, the cost of the service is definitely worthwhile.
Tips
Keep an eye out for family discounts if you're going with others from your family, since these are a common option. Remember that karate classes often charge extra for belt testing, so that's something you will want to look into. Lastly, think realistically about how often you'll be going to class, since some schools have a punch card system where it would be much cheaper to pay for a set number of lessons if you're only going to go once a week, for example, whereas it will be more cost effective to pay for the "unlimited" memberships if you'll be attending many sessions each week. Since karate lessons aren't cheap, I really recommend disciplining yourself to go as much as you can and do some exercise and practice the rest of the week so you're making the most of your money.
